Swing
The girl on the swing is the design for a mural for the housing corporation Vestia, intended to be applied to the wall of an S-shaped residential block designed by Mecanoo architects in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Due to the requirement that the mural had to be realized during the winter period, it became impossible to guarantee the durability of the paint. As a result, the project was unfortunately canceled.
I painted a smaller version of the image and presented it in the exhibition zij zei at Dat Bolwerck in Zutphen, the Netherlands.
